Calera de Villiers Vineyard Mt. Harlan Pinot Noir is a distinguished single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the iconic Mt. Harlan estate in California’s Gabilan Mountains. Produced by Calera Wine Company, this wine comes from one of the highest and coolest vineyard sites in California, planted on rare limestone-rich soils at approximately 2,200 feet elevation. Named after the author of The Heartbreak Grape, the de Villiers Vineyard consistently produces one of Calera’s most luxurious and dark-fruited expressions of Pinot Noir, combining mountain intensity with Burgundian elegance.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby red with garnet highlights.

NOSE:
Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, ripe strawberry, sassafras, cedar, cocoa bean, spice, and subtle floral notes.

TASTE:
