Comando G “Rozas 1er” is a highly acclaimed Garnacha from the mountainous Sierra de Gredos area within the Vinos de Madrid appellation in Spain. Crafted by the cult producer Comando G, the wine comes from old-vine Garnacha vineyards in Rozas de Puerto Real planted on granite and sandy soils at elevations around 900 meters. Produced using biodynamic farming, indigenous yeasts, whole-cluster fermentation, and minimal intervention, Rozas 1er is celebrated for combining the elegance of fine Burgundy with the aromatic purity and mineral tension of high-altitude Garnacha.

Tasting Notes
