Description

De Sousa Cuvée 3A Grand Cru is a flagship biodynamic Champagne from the acclaimed grower-producer Champagne De Sousa in Avize, located in the Côte des Blancs. The name “3A” refers to its three Grand Cru villages of origin: Avize (Chardonnay), Aÿ (Pinot Noir), and Ambonnay (Pinot Noir). This rare combination unites the chalky precision of Côte des Blancs Chardonnay with the power and depth of Montagne de Reims Pinot Noir.

Produced from old vines (typically 25–30 years and older), the wine is farmed organically and biodynamically and vinified partly in stainless steel and partly in oak barrels, followed by extended lees aging (around 36 months or more). The result is a complex, structured, and highly expressive Grand Cru Champagne with both richness and tension.
