Situated at the edge of Morey-Saint-Denis and bordering Chambertin itself, this wine reflects a unique balance of Grand Cru power and airy finesse. In the hands of Pierre Duroché, it is crafted in a precise, low-intervention style that emphasizes purity of Pinot Noir, whole-cluster complexity, and terroir transparency.

Latricières is often described as the most “noble restraint” among the Chambertins—combining structure with delicacy and a cool, stony elegance.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Red cherry, wild raspberry, blackcurrant, rose petals, violets, and crushed stone. Secondary layers of forest floor, truffle, warm spice, and subtle smoky earth emerge with age.

TASTE:
Medium to full-bodied with remarkable tension. The fruit is precise and focused—cranberry, sour cherry, and blackberry—wrapped in finely grained tannins and bright, driving acidity.

FINISH:
Extremely long, saline, and spicy, with lingering red fruit and iron-like minerality.
