Les Vignes de Bisseuil is one of the newest and most distinctive vineyard-designated Champagnes from Egly-Ouriet. Sourced exclusively from old vines in the Premier Cru village of Bisseuil, this cuvée is unusual within the Egly-Ouriet range because it is Chardonnay-dominant, showcasing a more linear, chalk-driven expression than the house's Pinot Noir-led bottlings. Vinified in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, aged extensively on lees, and bottled with minimal dosage, it combines richness, precision, and exceptional terroir transparency.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Green apple, pear, lemon zest, white flowers, citrus oil, almond, and brioche. Aeration reveals notes of pastry, toasted hazelnut, acacia blossom, and subtle honeyed nuances

TASTE:
Medium-bodied with remarkable energy and focus. Orchard fruit, citrus peel, and chalky minerality are framed by bright acidity and a fine, creamy mousse. Layers of toasted pastry, roasted nuts, and saline complexity emerge across the palate

FINISH:
Long, dry, and intensely mineral with lingering lemon zest, sea-salt freshness, and elegant tension
