The Millésimé Grand Cru Extra Brut is one of the flagship vintage Champagnes from Egly-Ouriet, produced only in exceptional harvest years from Grand Cru vineyards in Ambonnay. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this prestige cuvée embodies the house philosophy of low yields, organic-minded viticulture, barrel fermentation, extended lees aging, and minimal dosage.

Unlike the house's non-vintage wines, the Millésimé is a pure expression of a single growing season, offering greater depth, complexity, and aging potential. It is widely regarded as one of the benchmark vintage grower Champagnes of the region.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Complex aromas of baked apple, citrus oil, brioche, toasted hazelnut, candied ginger, white flowers, orange zest, and subtle smoky minerality. Extended lees aging contributes layers of pastry, buttered toast, and roasted nuts.

TASTE:
Full-bodied and intensely concentrated with remarkable precision. Flavors of ripe orchard fruits, preserved lemon, grapefruit, brioche, almond cream, and chalky minerality unfold across the palate. The texture is rich and vinous yet energized by vibrant acidity.

FINISH:
Exceptionally long and refined, showing saline minerality, citrus zest, toasted nuts, and lingering brioche complexity.
