François Carillon's Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes is a prestigious Premier Cru white Burgundy crafted from 100% Chardonnay grown in the celebrated Les Combettes vineyard, situated on the border between Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault in the Côte de Beaune. The wine is produced from clay-limestone soils and matured in French oak barrels, including approximately 25% new oak, before extended aging to enhance complexity and longevity. Known for its remarkable balance of power, finesse, and minerality, Les Combettes is considered one of Puligny-Montrachet's finest Premier Cru sites.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:

NOSE:
Expressive and refined, revealing aromas of citrus zest, grapefruit, white peach, orchard fruits, white flowers, toasted hazelnut, subtle vanilla, and crushed stone minerality. With age, notes of honey, brioche, and roasted nuts emerge.
