Hirsch Vineyards – East Ridge Estate Sonoma Coast is a distinguished estate Pinot Noir from the rugged Sonoma Coast of California. Produced by Hirsch Vineyards, this single-vineyard wine originates from the East Ridge block, one of the estate’s most prized sites overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Located in the remote Fort Ross-Seaview area, the East Ridge vineyard is planted on steep hillsides with fractured sandstone and shale soils. The cool maritime climate, frequent fog, and long growing season allow Pinot Noir to ripen slowly, developing exceptional complexity, balance, and site-specific character. East Ridge is often considered one of the most refined and age-worthy expressions in the Hirsch portfolio, showcasing purity, precision, and a strong sense of place.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Brilliant ruby-red with garnet highlights and remarkable clarity.

NOSE:
Highly expressive and layered, revealing aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, black cherry, cranberry, rose petal, and violet. Additional notes of forest floor, dried herbs, tea leaf, orange peel, and crushed stone add depth and complexity.

TASTE:
