Jean Grivot – Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is a prestigious Grand Cru Burgundy from the historic Clos de Vougeot vineyard in the Côte de Nuits, produced by the renowned Domaine Jean Grivot of Vosne-Romanée. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this wine comes from one of Burgundy’s most famous and complex vineyards—an ancient walled clos first established by Cistercian monks in the 12th century.

Clos de Vougeot is a large Grand Cru with varied terroirs, but in the hands of Jean Grivot it is crafted in a refined, structured style that emphasizes purity, precision, and elegance over rustic power. The estate’s meticulous vineyard work and careful oak aging allow the wine to express both the depth of the vineyard and the finesse associated with Vosne-Romanée craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby red with garnet reflections and excellent concentration.

NOSE:
Complex and layered, with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, and blackcurrant, evolving into violet, rose petal, forest floor, truffle, spice box, and subtle cedar notes.

TASTE:
