Jonata Flor is the flagship white wine of the renowned Jonata Estate in California’s Santa Ynez Valley. Produced from estate vineyards in the Ballard Canyon area of Santa Barbara County, Flor is a distinctive Bordeaux-inspired white blend that showcases the exceptional quality of Jonata’s terroir and meticulous winemaking.

Typically composed primarily of Sauvignon Blanc with varying proportions of Sémillon depending on the vintage, Flor combines the vibrant freshness of Sauvignon Blanc with the texture, richness, and age-worthiness of Sémillon. Fermentation and aging in French oak barrels contribute complexity and structure while preserving the wine’s precision and mineral character. Widely regarded as one of California’s finest white wines, Flor offers both immediate appeal and significant cellaring potential.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Brilliant pale gold with subtle green reflections and excellent clarity.

NOSE:
Complex and layered, displaying aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, lime blossom, white peach, nectarine, and passion fruit. Secondary notes of honeysuckle, fresh herbs, wet stone, brioche, and subtle vanilla emerge with aeration.

TASTE:
