Littorai One Acre Pinot Noir is one of the rarest and most coveted wines in the Littorai portfolio, crafted from the tiny One Acre Vineyard in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino County, California. Founded by legendary winemaker Ted Lemon, Littorai is widely recognized as a pioneer of terroir-driven, biodynamic viticulture in California, producing Pinot Noirs that rival the finest examples from Burgundy.

The One Acre Vineyard is an exceptionally small, meticulously farmed site planted to Pinot Noir in the cool-climate Deep End of Anderson Valley. Its coastal influence, low yields, and biodynamic farming practices produce fruit of remarkable concentration, finesse, and complexity. Produced in extremely limited quantities, One Acre is considered a collector’s wine and one of California’s benchmark single-vineyard Pinot Noirs.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Brilliant ruby-red with garnet highlights and exceptional depth.

NOSE:
Intensely aromatic, revealing layers of wild strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, cranberry, and pomegranate. Complex secondary notes of rose petals, orange zest, forest floor, black tea, dried herbs, and exotic spices unfold with aeration.

TASTE:
Medium-bodied yet remarkably concentrated, offering a seamless balance of vibrant red fruit, silky tannins, and fresh acidity. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, plum skin, and crushed berries are complemented by earthy undertones, mineral nuances, and delicate spice.
