Crafted from a harmonious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, with a significant proportion of carefully matured reserve wines, Extra Réserve reflects the elegance, balance, and consistency that have become hallmarks of the Champagne house.

Sourced primarily from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and surrounding areas, the wine benefits from extended maturation in Palmer & Co.’s historic chalk cellars, resulting in exceptional finesse, complexity, and depth.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Bright golden straw with brilliant clarity and a fine, persistent stream of bubbles.

NOSE:
Elegant and expressive, featuring aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, pear, white peach, and apricot. Secondary notes of brioche, toasted almonds, honey, dried flowers, and fresh pastry add complexity.

TASTE:
Fresh and beautifully balanced, with flavors of orchard fruits, lemon zest, stone fruits, and subtle red berry nuances. The creamy mousse is supported by vibrant acidity, while extended lees aging contributes notes of brioche, hazelnut, and delicate toast. The wine is both refined and generous, offering excellent texture and harmony.

FINISH:
Long, clean, and elegant, with lingering citrus, pastry, mineral, and nutty notes.
