Paul Pernot Pommard Noizons is a structured and terroir-driven Pinot Noir from the Pommard appellation in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Produced by Domaine Paul Pernot, a respected family estate based in Puligny-Montrachet, this cuvée reflects a classic expression of Pommard—combining firmness, depth, and earthy complexity with refined Burgundy finesse.

The “Noizons” lieu-dit is known for clay-limestone soils that produce wines with notable structure and concentration. While Pommard is traditionally more powerful than its neighboring villages, Paul Pernot’s approach emphasizes balance and purity, resulting in a wine that is both robust and elegantly detailed.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby with garnet reflections, showing concentration and youthful intensity.

NOSE:
Pronounced and earthy, with aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, and red currant. Layers of violet, dried rose, forest floor, crushed herbs, and subtle spice add depth, alongside hints of leather and damp earth typical of Pommard.

TASTE:
