Named after the legendary jazz pianist Thelonious Monk, this wine is part of Parra’s prestigious cru series, celebrating extraordinary vineyard sites rooted in ancient granitic soils.

Sourced from old, dry-farmed vines in Guarilihue Alto, Monk is a powerful yet refined expression of Carignan. Pedro Parra’s philosophy centers on allowing geology and terroir to speak clearly through the wine. Native yeast fermentation, whole-cluster inclusion, and aging in neutral vessels preserve the vineyard’s identity, resulting in a wine that combines intensity, freshness, and mineral precision.
