Pedro Parra y Familia Trane is a highly acclaimed single-vineyard Chilean red wine crafted from predominantly Cinsault grapes grown in the historic Itata Valley. Produced by Pedro Parra, one of the world's leading terroir specialists, Trane comes from an organically farmed vineyard planted around 1944 in Guarilihue Alto. The wine is named after legendary jazz musician John Coltrane, reflecting the elegance, tension, complexity, and energy that characterize both the music and the wine.

Fermented with 100% whole clusters in concrete vats and aged in large oak casks, Trane is renowned for its purity, mineral-driven character, and remarkable expression of Itata's decomposed granite soils. The result is a refined yet powerful wine that beautifully balances concentration with freshness.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Bright ruby-red with brilliant clarity and subtle garnet hues.

NOSE:
Highly perfumed and expressive, with aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate. Floral notes of violet and rose petal are complemented by dried herbs, white pepper, tea leaf, and crushed granite minerality.

TASTE:
Medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and exceptionally fine tannins. Pure red fruit flavors are layered with savory herbs, floral nuances, and a pronounced mineral core. The wine is energetic, focused, and remarkably elegant, emphasizing freshness and terroir expression rather than power.

FINISH:
