Located in the northern sector of Gevrey-Chambertin, Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru is renowned for producing wines of finesse, aromatic complexity, and remarkable longevity. Compared to some of Gevrey’s more powerful Grand Crus, Ruchottes-Chambertin is often celebrated for its floral character, silky texture, and refined structure. Pacalet’s gentle winemaking approach enhances these qualities, resulting in a Pinot Noir that is both profound and graceful.

COLOR:
Brilliant ruby-red with deep garnet reflections and remarkable clarity.

NOSE:
Highly expressive and complex, offering aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, and red currant. Layers of rose petal, violet, orange peel, Asian spices, sandalwood, forest floor, and crushed stone emerge with aeration.
