Pierre Péters Millésimé L'Esprit de Blanc de Blancs is a prestigious vintage Champagne crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. Produced by the iconic grower-producer Pierre Péters, based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, this cuvée represents the purest expression of the estate's renowned chalk-rich terroirs and its dedication to Chardonnay.

Unlike the house's non-vintage cuvées, L'Esprit de Blanc de Blancs is produced only in exceptional vintages when the quality of the harvest warrants a standalone vintage expression. The wine captures the precision, elegance, and mineral intensity for which Pierre Péters is celebrated, while extended lees aging adds depth, texture, and complexity.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Brilliant pale gold with silver reflections and an exceptionally fine, persistent mousse.

NOSE:
Highly refined and expressive, offering aromas of lemon zest, green apple, white peach, pear, and citrus blossom. Layers of chalk, oyster shell, brioche, toasted almond, and subtle honey notes emerge with aeration.

TASTE:
Focused and precise, with vibrant acidity and remarkable purity. Flavors of citrus fruits, orchard fruits, and white stone fruits are supported by pronounced chalky minerality, delicate pastry notes, and a creamy texture derived from extended lees aging.
