Domaine Robert Groffier Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru is one of the most prestigious expressions of Pinot Noir in Burgundy, sourced from the legendary Clos de Bèze Grand Cru vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, Côte de Nuits. Produced in extremely limited quantities, this wine reflects Groffier’s signature style: a balance of powerful structure, silky texture, and ethereal perfume.

Clos de Bèze itself is one of Burgundy’s most historic Grand Cru sites, known for producing wines that combine the depth of Chambertin with slightly more aromatic lift and finesse. Groffier’s interpretation is often described as both intensely concentrated and beautifully refined, with exceptional aging potential of several decades.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby with garnet reflections, showing concentration and clarity.

NOSE:
Highly complex aromas of black cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, violet, rose petals, crushed stone, licorice, and subtle spice. With age, it develops notes of truffle, forest floor, leather, and incense-like earthiness.
