Domaine Robert Groffier Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées is a highly regarded village-level Burgundy crafted from old-vine Pinot Noir grown in the Les Seuvrées lieu-dit, a celebrated vineyard situated near the Grand Cru sites of Gevrey-Chambertin. Often outperforming its classification, this wine is frequently described as having Premier Cru quality, combining the power and structure typical of Gevrey-Chambertin with the elegance and precision that characterize the Groffier style. The estate employs traditional Burgundian winemaking, including partial whole-cluster fermentation and aging in predominantly neutral oak, allowing the vineyard's character to shine.
