Roberto Voerzio Barolo La Serra is a distinguished single-vineyard Barolo from the renowned La Serra MGA in La Morra, one of the most prestigious crus in the Barolo appellation. Roberto Voerzio is celebrated for producing exceptionally concentrated and age-worthy Nebbiolo through meticulous vineyard management and extremely low yields. La Serra is known for yielding wines of remarkable elegance, aromatic intensity, and refined tannic structure, making it one of the estate's most graceful and terroir-driven expressions.

Compared with the more powerful Brunate and the perfumed finesse of Cerequio, La Serra often occupies a middle ground, offering both precision and accessibility while maintaining the depth and longevity expected of great Barolo. The wine is capable of evolving beautifully for two decades or more in the cellar.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep garnet-ruby with brilliant clarity and youthful intensity.

NOSE:
Complex and expressive aromas of black cherries, red plums, blood orange, menthol, licorice, sweet berries, tar, hazelnut, sandalwood, and delicate floral notes of rose petals and violets.

TASTE:
Medium to full-bodied with layers of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, orange peel, and spice. The palate is characterized by ultra-fine, polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a silky yet structured texture, delivering both elegance and concentration.
