Suenen Le Mont-Aigu Chouilly Millésime Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut is one of the flagship single-vineyard Champagnes from Champagne Suenen, crafted by acclaimed grower-producer Aurélien Suenen. Sourced exclusively from the historic Le Mont-Aigu lieu-dit in Chouilly Grand Cru, this exceptional Champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay and showcases the unique terroir of one of the Côte des Blancs' most celebrated villages.

The vineyard's chalk-rich soils and east-facing slopes produce Chardonnay of remarkable purity, finesse, and minerality. Produced only in outstanding vintages, Le Mont-Aigu is vinified with minimal intervention and bottled with a low Extra Brut dosage, allowing the character of the vineyard to shine. Extended lees aging adds depth and texture while preserving the wine's remarkable freshness and precision.

This cuvée is widely regarded as one of the finest terroir-driven Blanc de Blancs Champagnes, combining elegance, complexity, and exceptional aging potential.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Brilliant pale gold with silver highlights and an exceptionally fine, persistent mousse.

NOSE:
Highly expressive aromas of lemon zest, green apple, pear, white peach, white flowers, acacia blossom, crushed chalk, toasted almond, brioche, and subtle pastry notes. With aeration, hints of citrus oil and saline minerality emerge.

TASTE:
Precise, vibrant, and beautifully textured, with flavors of citrus, orchard fruits, white peach, and lemon curd layered over a pronounced chalky minerality. The palate combines creamy texture with razor-sharp acidity and remarkable tension, delivering both richness and elegance.

FINISH:
Exceptionally long, saline, and mineral-driven, leaving lingering notes of citrus peel, white flowers, crushed stone, and delicate brioche.
