The Hakushu 18-Year-Old Peated Malt (2024 Edition) is a limited-release single malt from Suntory’s Hakushu Distillery, part of the 2024 Tsukuriwake Series.
This expression was originally launched in conjunction with Suntory’s 100th-anniversary celebrations, and it made a return in 2024 due to popular demand.
Bottled at 48% ABV in a 700 ml format, it represents a thoughtful exploration of smoky malt matured in Hakushu’s mountain-forest environment.
Blenders selected peated malt whiskies aged for at least 18 years and combined them to highlight Hakushu’s signature purity of water (filtered through granite), layered with subtle smoke, herbaceous elements, and fruit.
