Vilmart & Cie Grand Cellier 1er Cru Brut is the flagship non-vintage Champagne from the esteemed grower-producer Champagne Vilmart & Cie. Crafted in the Premier Cru village of Rilly-la-Montagne in the Montagne de Reims, Grand Cellier has earned a cult following among Champagne enthusiasts for its remarkable combination of richness, precision, and age-worthiness. The cuvée is typically a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, often incorporating multiple vintages to achieve consistency and complexity.

Unlike many Champagne houses, Vilmart ferments and ages its wines in large oak casks and foudres and deliberately avoids malolactic fermentation, preserving freshness and tension while adding subtle texture and depth. The wine spends approximately three years on its lees before release, resulting in a Champagne of exceptional finesse and complexity.
