Whitcraft Winery Pence Ranch 115 Clone is a captivating Californian red wine that highlights the precision and site expression of Pinot Noir Clone 115 from the acclaimed Pence Ranch Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Crafted by the cult producer Whitcraft Winery, this limited-production bottling showcases the winery's minimalist philosophy and its commitment to producing elegant, terroir-driven wines.

Pence Ranch Vineyard sits on an elevated plateau just outside Buellton, exposed to cooling Pacific winds and fog. The specific block planted to Dijon Clone 115 features clay soils permeated with limestone and shale, producing fruit with exceptional aromatic complexity and natural freshness. The vineyard is farmed using regenerative and organic principles, emphasizing soil health and biodiversity.

Winemaking is intentionally gentle and hands-off, with hand-harvested fruit, native fermentation, minimal extraction, and aging for approximately eleven months in French oak. The wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered, preserving purity and transparency. The result is a Pinot Noir of remarkable energy, finesse, and Burgundian sensibility.
