Master of Malt Bunnahabhain 15 Year Old 2009 is a distinctive Islay single malt Scotch whisky, distilled at the renowned Bunnahabhain Distillery in 2009 and matured for 15 years. Released by Master of Malt, this vintage expression highlights the more subtle and maritime side of Islay whisky.
Unlike many heavily peated Islay malts, Bunnahabhain is traditionally known for its relatively gentle peat influence, allowing the character of the spirit and oak to shine. Fifteen years of maturation brings together coastal salinity, dried fruit, honey, vanilla, nuts, and subtle smoke, creating a whisky that is complex without being overwhelmingly peaty.

Smooth and full-bodied, offering layers of dried apricot, raisins, caramel, roasted almonds, vanilla, and gentle oak spice. Light maritime smoke and a touch of brine provide the distinctive Islay character.
FINISH:
Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, toasted nuts, gentle smoke, sea salt, and polished oak.
